Campaign
To set up a Campaign, you first need to set up a Recommender, and then you can create a Campaign within the Recommender.
Each Recommender can contain multiple different campaigns.
For example the below Recommender ‘PDP You May Also Like’ has 5 unique campaigns within it.
The campaign’s priority dictates from which campaign the result is returned in a recommendation slot. Campaigns with a higher priority will be used first and continue to return results until there are none left. At that stage, it will fall back to the next campaign and so on.
Click on the settings icon of each campaign to view or edit campaign details.
Disable discount level filter if viewed discounted product
Within each tactic , discount level filters can be set. This setting at campaign level controls the ability to disable the discount filter in the tactic if the product the customer is viewing is a discounted product.
Filter products by viewing product family
This feature allows the campaign to de-dupe products in recommendation slots when they are of the same product family (variants of the same product). If the product family data is available in the database and this feature is enabled, when customer views a product A, we will not return other variants under the same product family (e.g. other colors of the same shoes).
Active
Only active campaigns will return results in widgets.
